The project required a reboot of something made before the early 2000s when 3D animated title screens weren’t commonly around. For this, I wanted to do the 1995 classic Chrono Trigger. With this piece, it worked with a lot of moving pieces, poly breaks, and smooth transitions. From flipping pieces. Since the classic was drawn by Akira Toriyama I wanted the texture of the 3d objects to reflect that anime style with cell shading and white from the lights highlighting areas. For the music for the piece I wanted to blend the classic soundtrack with that of new type beat, Bknapp had the perfect song for it that blended well with the motion piece.
